1. QUOTATION

2. PREPARATION

Once you have received and accepted your Spray Tech quotation and a suitable date has been agreed, our team will arrive on-site to begin the process of transforming your kitchen. Initial preparation will take place on-site in order to remove all kitchen doors, drawer fronts and any other items to be sprayed at Spray Tech’s workshop. The team will then continue with preparing the rest of your kitchen in readiness for painting. This will include all items that cannot be removed including end panels, gables, pelmets and framework etc. All surfaces to be painted will be fully prepared including the removal of any dirt and grime that may have built up over time. Should you choose to change your door handles or hinges, Spray Tech will ensure that any previous holes or imperfections are filled and all damaged areas are repaired. The final stage of preparation includes sanding and priming the surfaces to be painted. Care and attention are taken to ensure that the highest quality finish is achieved before the paint is applied.

3. SPRAYING

Once all areas to be painted has been fully prepared and primed, your choice of colour is then professionally and skilfully applied using high-quality spray painting techniques. The team at Spray Tech have extensive experience in spray-painting, providing you with the confidence that the best possible finish will be delivered. During this process, Spray Tech ensure that the kitchen is completely sealed off allowing for the extraction and filtration of any paint fumes.

4. INSTALLING / FINISHING

All items that were sent to Spray Tech’s workshop are returned to the site and re-fitted including any new handles or hinges that you may have chosen. The Spray Tech team will carry out a final quality check to ensure the job is complete and to your satisfaction. Please note that Spray Tech will not leave any mess on-site, nor throughout the process, your kitchen will be left clean and tidy.

Whilst Spray Tech, Crawley offer almost any finish of your choosing, often the most popular finishes are in matt and satin. Spray Tech highly recommend the finish being satin with a 20% sheen allowing for easy maintenance and cleanliness. However, all Spray Tech finishes are guaranteed for longevity and durability. Spray Tech use paints specially designed for indoor use, these paints possess the required resistance to all the exposed elements found within your kitchen environment. This includes household chemicals, cleaning materials, hot steam and exposure to excess light.

HIGH GLOSS FINISH

High Gloss finishes provide a very high level of sheen and have an almost mirror effect when reflecting light. These finishes are typically more difficult to maintain however provide a high-end feel to your kitchen.

Q. How hard-wearing is the paint finish and how long will it last?

A. The paints Spray Tech use has been specifically designed for the kitchen environment and will hold up to all aspects of kitchen life. The high-quality finish is durable and will last until you decide to make another change in colour. All of Spray Tech’s kitchen resprays come with a guarantee.

Q. Can I upgrade the hinges on my doors to soft close hinges?

A. Yes, Spray Tech customers that have not previously experienced the convenience of soft-close will often take this opportunity to have their hinges replaced for such.

Q. Can I change my door handles?

A. Yes, Spray Tech can replace your existing handles with new ones. Where new holes need to be made, Spray Tech will fill and repair the existing holes to ensure a perfect finish. Spray Tech will direct you to a choice of reputable suppliers where you can select from a wide range of quality handles.

Q. Do I need to remove the contents of my kitchen cupboards?

A. No, it is not necessary to empty your cupboards and drawers Spray Tech will completely protect them whilst on site.

Q. How do I choose a colour for my kitchen?

A. Spray Tech will direct you to a selection of the industry’s leading paint manufacturer colour charts or even match the colour of your choice.

Q. How long will it take to complete my kitchen?

A. Spray Tech aims to complete the transformation of your kitchen within a week with most jobs scheduled for a Monday start and a Friday completion.

Q. Can I choose to have my kitchen painted in more than one colour?

A. You can select as many colours as you like. Often Spray Tech customers choose to have their upper cupboards a shade lighter or darker than the lower cupboards or an island of cupboards in a different colour to the rest of the kitchen.
